I help students turn the stressful college admissions process into a journey of self-discovery (yes, really!). Whether you’re brainstorming that first essay idea, polishing your applications, or just figuring out where to even start, I’m here to make the process clearer, calmer, and—dare I say—fun.
A little about me: I’m a graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education, a Swarthmore alum, and the founder of Meng Education, where I’ve worked with students from Beijing to Philadelphia to land spots at Ivy League universities, top liberal arts colleges, and Oxbridge. Over the years, I’ve logged 1,500+ hours of tutoring, led essay workshops that double as creative adventures, and discovered that coffee is my most reliable writing partner.
I believe every student has a story worth telling. My job is to help you find it, shape it, and share it—whether that means late-night essay brainstorming sessions, nerding out over your favorite books, or strategizing how your extracurriculars reflect who you are.

Academic Tutoring
I tutor students G7-12 in IB, AP, and IGCSE courses. I specialize in English, History, Economics, and Geography. Contact me for more details.
Summer Courses
Seminar-style classes (6-12 students) are offered during summer holidays. I alternate between teaching a high-school level course titled "Philosophies of the East and the West" and a middle-school level course titled "Citizens of the World"
College Counseling
I guide high school students through their university application process, from choosing their best-fit college to helping them craft the most compelling admissions essays
